I am Laura, a portrait, family, and wedding photographer based in Oxford, specialising in natural, relaxed and creative photography across Oxfordshire. As an Oxford family photographer, I love capturing gorgeous families –  the laughter, the hugs, the tiny  moments that tell your story. As an Oxford wedding photographer, I photograph wedding days with a creative style, focusing on the gorgeous couple, emotions, beautiful details and those joy‑filled moments that couples will treasure forever.

I want to help people feel confident and empowered in front of the camera. Whether it’s a family photoshoot in Oxfordshire, a wedding in the Cotswolds, a couple’s session, or a portrait photoshoot with your dog, my goal is to help you see yourself with pride and joy. Everyone deserves to feel amazing in their photos – I believe everyone is photogenic and totally brilliant. I want my clients to see themselves the way that their loved ones see them. I want you to feel empowered.

Growing up in the 90s, I felt the pressure to look “perfect”, but real life isn’t about perfection. I’m a redhead with glasses and everything around me (tv, magazines, movies, everything!) told me this was not attractive – and it has taken me over 40 years to embrace who I am (and I am still working on it). That journey inspires my work today. As your Oxford photographer, I want you to feel confident in your own skin and to love who you see. Your session will be relaxed, fun, and full of encouragement, with guidance on posing, outfits and styling so you feel comfortable from the very first moment.

I love creating beautiful images through trying new styles, using creative lighting setups, exploring different props, and experimenting with poses. Whether I’m photographing families in Oxfordshire’s countryside, or stylish modern wedding photography in Oxford, I bring creativity, warmth and a supportive approach to every shoot.

During your session, I’ll help you with outfit choices (I love this part!), posing, how to sit or stand, and how to relax into the moment. Photography should be fun – and with me, it absolutely is!
